Bangus Festival Cookfest

I love foreign fish like salmon, trout (oh, the flavor of it smoked or pickled) or the delicate flesh of the flounder fried in olive oil with garlic.

But nothing trumps the Bonuan Bangus

It's fitting that the Bangus Festival Cookfest 2009 pays tribute to this versatile fish and other local ingredients in what has become one of the most anticipated events in the festival (the free tasting of course!)

The cookfest is generously sponsored by Safi (makers of Golden Fiesta Cooking Oil); Uniliver Foods (makers of Knorr); Jaka (makers of Guitar Matches); and SMC-CKAG (makers of Star Margarine and Magnolia Cheeze).
